The biennial Beautification Awards, which recognize exceptional residential gardens in Avon, will be presented this year. The Avon Garden club began these awards in 2003 to support its mission and goal of contributing to the beautification of our community. Eligible gardens must be attended to and maintained by the homeowners; professionally manicured gardens are not eligible. Only front yards will be considered.
Winners will be publicly announced and honored during a ceremony to be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Miller Nature Preserve. We encourage and invite nominations for residential gardens for the 2025 Beautification Awards. Residents may suggest for consideration a neighbor’s or their own garden by emailing avongcbeautificationawards@gmail.com. The deadline to nominate gardens is June 15th, 2025.
